Appstores Launches New App Galleries for Mashery and Klout
Today we’re excited to announce the launch of two new app galleries for both Mashery & Klout. These galleries will be used to promote and evangelize what types of apps and integrations can be built using the Mashery partner APIs and the Klout APIs, respectively.
From the beginning, our mission as a company has been to stand at the intersection of app distribution and discoverability — both by giving the AppGalleries.com tool to product-as-platform companies to facilite the management and evangelism of their app ecosystem, while at the same time providing developers with multiple channels to distribute their applications across our entire Appstores Publisher Network.
As developers ourselves, we want to stay true to helping solve this problem as we see fit: by creating a powerful network of niche and relevant app distribution via our publisher Appstores Publisher Network (e.g., iPhoneGames.com, HelloBrit.com, GetAndroidStuff.com). Now, when developers submit their apps to the Mashery or Klout app galleries, they will be able to track and acquire distribution from the Appstores’ network of publishers and app galleries.
Out of the gate, the App Galleries tool is helping developers identify and answer some of the biggest questions/concerns faced when addressing where to build and why:
- What can I build with your API?
- Who else is building on the API?
- Will the API help me market my app?
